Elena D1 StarCustomers please be careful when filling your prescription at this location. First I called to see if they had a medication in stock, the young lady I spoke with said yes. Drove to the store to be told they did not have the meds I requested because it was out of stock. I agreed to get it in another form. When I returned home, i realized that all the meds were expired a year ago. When I returned to the store no one seem to be surprised by the incident. I was then given the original med I requested, which I was lied to and told it was out of stock. Never again will I use this Walgreens. The pure negligence is very concerning. Do better Walgreens with training your staff before someone gets hurt.Sunday 10th November 2024
Ashley Jarrett1 StarI typically go to this location only due to how close it is to my house. I know most of the staff well and they have seen me often. Let me start off that yes their lines can be long, but I normally have never really had an issue with anyone there and I love the lady that handles the HBA area. I came in today and got the few things I needed and went to look at the laundry detergent. The item that I love using was on sale!!! I typically do NOT use coupons but the tag said save $3.00, so I checked in the app for a coupon. There was one and I tried so many times to clip it. I know technology very well and I am very used to apps. I tried signing out and signing back in, I tried everything! At this moment I just went to check out. After she checked out my items I asked her if the 3.00 off coupon came off , she kindly informed me it did not. I pulled up my app and showed her the difficulties I was having. She then called the manager over. The young female who instantly gave me the impression that I was there to " Scam " them. I showed her the same thing I showed the cashier....she then " TOOK " my PERSONAL phone from my hand, gave Walgreens permission and access to my phone and she scanned the barcode on the laundry detergent and said " oh doesn't show anything" I said I do not know it just shows me but it won't let me clip it. ( We are 15 minutes into a 4 item transaction on a SATURDAY ) She set down my phone then grabbed hers and said I'll use my phone. I said ok, the cashier mouthed that she was so sorry I waved my hand that it was ok, even though I was beginning to be embarrassed I held my composure . She said ugh I'll go check out the tag, and she walked off. I stood there and waited with other customers watching me, and the other staff. She came back about 5 or so minutes and showed me a picture on her phone of the tag...like I didn't see it or read it. She said oh no it already gave you the $3.00 off automatically. At this moment I wish I could have held it in but I couldn't. She was attempting to not only LIE to me about their tags but made me feel like I was incapable of reading or understanding a tag or app. I told her the conversation was over , I asked the cashier to make sure the Persil was still rang up and I paid for the item. I informed the Manager then that instead of making a customer wait 20+ minutes to do an investigation and make them feel like they did something wrong, to make OTHER customers wait , and to give the example to the other employees that it is ok to deceive a customer, she could have just adjusted the price then done her run down of the issue. I informed her she was NOT supposed to touch a customer's phone and grant ANY permissions to it , that was NOT her place. ONLY after I informed her of her dire need of some new training did she simply say..." I can adjust the price.." I turned to her and told her now you want to, no I am no longer dealing with you, I am going to pay the sale price and I will speak to who I need to about you and how you feel that the money is personally yours and you might needs some training on customer retention and customer service , not coupon cop. Shameful and I will go next door to another pharmacy.Saturday 5th October 2024
Ben Walker4 StarThe pharmacy can get a little crowded at peak times. When did insurance start making me use this pharmacy? I do enjoy the employee, though. They seem to keep nice people around.Saturday 24th August 2024
R.T. Weeks5 StarI came by today to get soda and chips after buying a sub because I knew I'd get way more value from buying stuff at Walgreens than paying an extra $5+ for a 20 ounce soda and a cookie!
I LOVE everything about ALL my visits to this Walgreens by my house- at the intersection of Five Forks Trickum Road and Oak Road. It's literally like going to the candy store from when I was a kid. My wife and sometimes go by to get ice cream and snacks for date night instead of going to the CVS or Kroger-- both of which are right across the street! We do all of our photo Christmas cards there, our kids' graduation cards... everything! It's the ambiance. The smiles on Ms. Aretha's face along with all the other folks from around the store. Like the folks in the photo area that always has my stuff ready on time when I order from home. Or the lady who I asked where the deodorant was (just yesterday) when I came by since I realized that I didn't have any at home and (again) came to you guys vs. going to the actual supermarket across the street. My entire family gets our flu and COVID shots at the pharmacy there as well. Talk about one stop shopping!
PLUS-- you guys always have the Werther's Caramel Popcorn-- WITH PRETZELS-- which is my favorite. CVS and even other Walgreens locations mostly only order the ones without pretzels. Your order person is awesome as he/she always has these available. Awesome!!!
Great service, smiling people, great sales (I think it was $3.49 for the Blue Belle ice cream when the wife and I bought them this past weekend or so). Keep it up! Love y'all.Wednesday 9th October 2024
Alice Koerner1 StarOnly visit after looking at Google maps live "busy Queue". If it is anywhere near busy do not go because you won't receive any service because the Queue will be too long at checkout or at the pharmacy or at the drive-through part of the pharmacy. Corner stores that are for convenience are supposed to have short lines. Upon my 2nd visit ever there were over a dozen people waiting in line for the drive-through and at the pharmacy for pick up. Obviously corporate doesn't care about this location at all to take care of their employees and have it properly staffed.
The photo I uploaded of the drive-through queue is only after I was leaving and four cars who had been sitting here (blocking other parked customers) had turned into the pick up line.
