Andrew M5 StarI just want to thank everyone who worked yesterday morning, particularly the woman who checks your receipts when you leave (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name.)
I had foot surgery a month ago and can’t walk and and am on crutches (and use a wheelchair at home.)
When I came into the store, I went over to the electric carts to get one. However, they were dead. The woman at the front came out and said she would call to see if any were available. Sadly, there were not. However, she took our name and said she would have us paged when one became available.
I was able to crutch around for about 5-10 minutes but got extremely tired, as this was my first time out since surgery. I was with my mother and told her I was going to wait in the car as I was exhausted. Just as I was about, our name was paged over the intercom and a scooter was waiting for me at customer service.
I know this may not seem like a big deal, but this truly meant the world to me (and my mom.) It was truly beyond the scope of y’all’s job, and the fact that you all took the time to truly help me out, was beyond kind.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone!! :)Thursday 12th September 2024
Sunflower Foodie2 StarMy recent experience at Walmart that left me questioning their "receipt-checking" policy at the exit. After a small grocery haul, I had two items paid for with cash that I left out of the bags. As I was leaving, a young lady asked to see my receipt. She glanced at it, presumably looking for the unbagged items, and then quickly said, "Ok, you're good to go." Those items were not even on the receipt. This policy feels like a joke. If they're going to enforce receipt checks, it should be done thoroughly and consistently. The way it’s currently handled, it just seems like an unnecessary inconvenience for customers. Walmart needs to either take this policy seriously or get rid of it altogether. The current half-hearted approach benefits no one and adds an unwelcome layer of hassle to the shopping experience.Wednesday 10th July 2024
Mary Neal Brake5 StarThe manager, sorry wish I knew his name, was soooooo nice and helped me check out. Even though my card wouldn’t work for some reason??? He helped me get through it. I got everything I needed. He stayed there to help me even though he was being called for emergencies elsewhere. He is an angel. And I will continue to shop here. He’s got your back!!!Sunday 13th October 2024
Plugg Truck1 StarEvery time I come in this location it’s always something so today I came to purchase 2 booster seats and apparently they just stock items any where but the correct place from what I was told by an associate, so I asked if they could override the price since it’s in the wrong place and I was told no!! They will not be getting any of my businessMonday 24th June 2024
Morgan Barham1 StarTerrible Customer Service and Embarrassing Treatment by Manager Michael at Walmart #03710
My husband and I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at Walmart #03710. We went in to return or exchange a brand-new wedding gift, an air fryer, and simply wanted to pay the difference for the one we preferred. However, we were told by the staff that we could not make the exchange because it was over $50, which made no sense. When I had called the 1-800 customer service line beforehand, I was assured that this wouldn’t be a problem and that we could bring it into the store.
Things went from bad to worse when the manager, Michael, was called to assist us. Instead of kindly clarifying the return policy, he proceeded to embarrass us in front of over 15 other customers, refusing to explain the specific rule about not allowing exchanges over $50. The return policy displayed right behind him clearly stated that returns or exchanges are allowed within 90 days, with no mention of a dollar limit, yet he kept dismissing our request without providing any clarification. We simply asked him to show us where this mysterious rule was posted, but instead of answering our question, he became loud and rude, accusing us of debating with him.
As a practicing attorney, I would have had no issue debating with Michael over the specifics of the policy, but it wasn’t even worth the hassle. The lack of professionalism and simple courtesy left us feeling humiliated and disappointed. We were just trying to understand the policy that had been inconsistently communicated, but instead were treated rudely and condescendingly.
This type of behavior is unacceptable. It’s truly unfortunate that this location’s customer service is so poor, especially compared to the level of service we received when we lived in Alpharetta. We will not be returning to this store, and I urge others to think twice before shopping here. The lack of respect for customers and the absurdity of the situation was truly appalling.Saturday 5th October 2024
